Superset Bis and Tris

I changed my workout schedule up a little this week and hit arms this morning. I was pretty tired from staying up for a Tampa Bay Lightning pre season game we went to last night. So I decided to superset triceps and biceps, as supersets tend to get the blood pumping and energy flowing quickly.

Superset Arms Workout

Cable Pressdowns: 4 x 12
superset with
Dumbbell Hammer Curls: 4 x 12

Reverse Overhead Rope Extensions: 4 x 12
superset with
EZ Bar Curls: 4 x 12

Seated Overhead Dumbbell Extensions: 3 x 12
superset with
Seated Dumbbell Curls: 3 x 12

Plate-Loaded Dips: 3 x 15

Alternating Bicep CurlsYou may notice I ended with an extra exercise for triceps. This is typical for me because triceps make up more arm mass than biceps. So it makes sense train them with more volume.

I stated I was a little tired this morning. By my second round of supersets, I was cured. I’ve become an avid fan of this technique as it creates an incredible pump. I hit some calves and cardio after my arm workout. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
