I’ve been doing more Facebook videos talking about my workouts, and I’ve been filming these in my car with my iPhone. It seems many of you have noticed the Happeseat car seat cover in the background, so I wanted to share my thoughts on it.
Here’s how it all started. My gym sweat was starting to discolor the car seat. And the same thing was happening to the console material where I lay my forearm while driving. Yeah, I know. Gross!! Disgusting!!!
My wife just couldn’t take it anymore. She started searching and came across Happeseat.
She ordered one for both of our cars on Amazon (she also ordered the Happeseat covers for the console). She ultimately bought Happeseats for the other seats as well.
To sum it up, we couldn’t be Happe’er! (yes, pun intended)!
Seriously though, Happeseat was a Godsend. I go to the gym 5 days a week. And I tend to sweat a lot in general. Not to mentioned we live in the hot and sunny Tampa Bay area. When I say hot, I mean like nasty, sticky humidity.
We also do a lot of outdoor activities like kayaking, canoeing, walking the dogs, hiking in park trails, etc. So these babies have come in quite handy for us!
What about installation? I’m usually not a fan of seat covers because they never seem to quit fit (even the so called fitted ones). But Happeseat was fairly simple.
You just strap the top around the headrest. It snaps in place, and you can adjust it. The bottom just lays across the actual seat.
Happeseat works great for our cars. I have a Nissan Rogue and she has a Nissan Sentra. But they’re supposed to fit all makes and models. As you can see below, it looks like it should.
What about washing? You can actually machine-wash them, and I’ve done that a few times. Like I said, I sweat a lot and we’re pretty active. I don’t want to continuously sit in my own funk (or anyone else’s!). But I don’t wash them that often. And they’ve never stunk, which is surprising.
So if you’re a gym rat or active like us, then check out Happeseat. It’s one of the best and most practical things you’ll ever buy!
Train with Passion,
