I have a lot of respect for the science behind creating new supplements and making legacy ones are effective. But there are some supplements that have kept their dominant status of building muscle and physique enhancement. One of those is ZMA.

I’m going to go back several years here to the history of ZMA and why the late great bodybuilders swore by it. The ZMA formula was developed by Victor Conte, founder of the sports nutrition center called BALCO and SNAC Nutrition. This was around the early-mid 90s.
ZMA was used by many athletes and bodybuilders, documenting phenomenal results. It was also used to help these athletes recovery from hard workouts. With that, ZMA also promotes R.E.M. sleep.
There’s no patent on the ZMA formula. However, the ZMA name is trademarked. Other supplement manufacturers have added to this formula in hopes of enhancing it.
Test Boosters with ZMA
There are some test boosters that include zinc, magnesium, and vitamin B6 on their label. To me, it makes perfect sense. If you’re increasing testosterone you’re going to need the bone support you’ll get from magnesium.
Zinc also helps reduce water weight. And you have the vitamin B6 for boosting metabolism. So ZMA alone could be considered a lean muscle test booster. This of course depends on other ingredients added.
