To be successful at strength training or bodybuilding, you have to give your body the proper nutrients to recover and grow. You have to feed it. My Homemade Chili Power Meal gives you a hefty dose of protein and carbohydrates without a ton of fat. You can make this into a high calorie meal or low calorie meal, depending on how much you need to eat. But I’m catering this crock pot chili power meal to those looking to increase strength and/or gain muscle mass.

My Homemade Chili Power Meal is relatively easy to make. The preparation time, including cooking the lean ground beef, is about eight minutes. You don’t necessary have to stir the ingredients in the crock pot every hour, on the hour, but it does help the flavor. Also, I love the slow cooker liners; this saves a lot of clean up time.
Make sure you watch the video above as I give step by step instructions on how to prepare and cook my Homemade Chili Power Meal. What I like most about crock pot meals in general is you can make enough food to last for several meals. This is a bodybuilder-friendly way to cook for those of us who don’t always have a ton of time to cook. You can cook a huge slow cooker meal and throw several servings in containers.
Try this slow cooker chili recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
