USPlabs Supercissus Review
USPlabs is a fairly new supplement company with a unique product line. The ingredients in some of their products are some I had never heard of before so I did some further research. I’m going to give you my review on their product called Supercissus, which is mainly for joint and tendon relief. I was a little skeptical, as most of us are when trying new supplements.
I had been training each body part heavy twice a week and needless to say my joints had taken a beaten and they were letting me know. I’ve always known the glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM blend to grant relief for joint pain, but for me that required taking well over the recommended dose and took several weeks to feel any kind of relief. None the less, it’s always worked. I had been reading about cissus quadrangularis. Of all the benefits of promoting tendon and ligament health from cissus, I had also read some studies that claim cissus to have ‘deca-like’ effects. Deca is the name for a popular steroid with high anabolic effects, also known to help with joint relief. Now this seemed a little far-fetched (and it is) but none the less I wanted to see what it would do for my joints. It just so happened upon leaving the gym one morning I noticed three bottles of USP Labs Supercissus that were marked down to $10 because they were near the expiration date (I think the gym owner had acquired a bunch of supplements from a nutrition store that was going out of business). So I picked one up.
It was a Friday afternoon and my lower back had been hurting along with a few other minor joint pains here and there. I found out after joining the 30s club about five years ago that you’re body is prone to more pains. So I started taking the Supercissus that night. The next morning I wanted to do dead lifts so I took my regular supplements, protein powder and my cissus then headed off to the gym. Now this sounds downright stupid after just complaining about my lower back pain. But you know us hardcore lifters are extremely stubborn and we tend to push against the flow with all of our might. The strange thing is my back pain was slowly going away throughout the rest of the day, and I didn’t wake up the following morning in pain as I had expected. I don't know if this is the placebo effect or if this stuff was already starting to do something. I’m not going to claim that 2 doses of this stuff completely healed me (because I've had lower back problems since) but after having been on this for a few weeks I can tell you that my joint pains were less frequent and severe. I'm certainly not going to claim any anabolic effects here. I believe any strength gains came from simply not having joint pain, as that will certainly hinder your strength.
My final thoughts on USPlabs Supercissus are that it’s a great product that lives up to its claims. However, Primaforce has a pure Cissus product that is less expensive with more servings.

My Use/Dosage of Supercissus
This was about a year from the date of this review. I took whatever the recommended dosage was on the label each day; 1 serving twice a day (morning/night).
My Experience with Supercissus
Pros: This did seem to mask the specific pains I was having.
Cons: No complaints on this product.
