Jason’s June 2013 Supplement Stack
This month’s supplement stack is the bare minimum (we’re in the process of moving so I needed to cut costs this month and simplify everything). However, it’s an effective stack and covers all the essentials. For me, the necessities include a quality multi-vitamin, whey protein, fish oil, aminos (BCAAs), and a pre workout. Creatine is an essential supplement for me as well, but most of the pre workout supplements I take contains creatine (such as Cellucor C4 Extreme, which is part of this stack).

One new supplement I’m taking is the whey protein from The Vitamin Shoppe: BodyTech Whey Tech Pro 24. I say new but I’ve actually taken this once or twice many years ago, though I’m sure the formula has been enhanced. I like the taste, it doesn’t upset my stomach, and I like the fact that it has Aminogen (I believe this is an extra amino acid profile). I can actually see myself taking Whey Tech Pro 24 again and will be doing a video review on it at some point.
I’m back on the Cellucor C4. I have a Cellucor C4 review but I’m not quite sure my review gives it the justice it deserves. Where as it doesn’t give me that jacked feeling right away, C4 provides smooth and sustainable energy. I picked this up at Costco; they sell it in packs of two and their price for two is what many supplement stores sell for one. I’m sticking with Animal Pak for multi’s and Dymatize Recoup for my BCAAs. I take BCAAs during every cardio session, which one is after my weight training and I sometimes do a second session that evening, and also a session or two on the weekends.
That’s it for this month. Since I have two canisters of Cellucor C4 Extreme, you’ll probably see that in next month’s stack as well. I may switch back to Opti-Men from Optimum Nutrition when I run out of Animal Pak as it’s more cost effective. I’ll probably be adding some sort of creatine for post workout soon too, more than likely ASR Hyper Gain.
