I’m on this superset trip lately, and adding in some rest pause sets as well. I started out this morning’s chest workout the same way I did last week; supersetting incline bench with bench press. And these weren’t done on machines.
Superset + Rest Pause Chest Workout
Incline Bench Press: 4 x 12-15
Bench Press: 4 x 7-10
Decline Bench Press: 4 x 12
Cable Crossovers: 4 x 10-12
Hammer Strength Incline Press: rest-pause x 75
As you can see the supersets didn’t stop at incline and flat bench. I continue with supersets for decline bench press and cable crossovers. In the end I decided to hit an extended rest pause set for Hammer Strenth Incline Press. The goal was 10 second rest between sets until I hit 75 total reps.
I also hit some triceps and abs after chest. I also used a combination of supersets and rest pause sets for these. After that it was cardio time. I’m now mentally preparing for tomorrow’s leg day!
