Big Back Day

This is my second week being back from vacation and I’m starting to feel my strength increase. It’s Monday which is big back day for me. I did a fairly high volume workout – 28 total sets!

Monday Back Workout

Seated Rows:
10 sets x 10 reps

Dumbbell Rows:
5 sets x 12 reps

Hammer Strength High Rows:
5 sets x 15 reps

Lat Pulldowns:
4 sets x 10 reps

Cable Pullovers:
4 sets x 12 reps

You all know I’m a fan of high volume workouts for back. So I started out with the German Volume Training 10 x 10 on seated rows. The multiple sets really gets the blood flowing. I proceeded to dumbbell rows. I used to go heavy on these but I lightened up the weight to get more reps and a better squeeze.

As I had stated, this back workout consisted of 28 sets and I consider that high volume. I use the same approach to back as I do my leg training. I also hit some calves and cardio at the end.
