This is one of those workouts I just had to share with you. There’s some awesome benefits to this type of workout for leg growth, and the kicker (no pun intended) is it’s only a 30 minute leg workout.

Here’s the leg workout details (sets x reps):
You’ll notice that you’re doing 10 sets of 10 reps for leg press and leg extensions. This method is called German Volume Training. It’s a high volume of sets and reps and is designed to pump more blood into the muscle. You can make some serious muscle gains with 10 x 10.
In this 30 minute leg workout, you only do the German Volume Training for leg press and leg extensions. I didn’t feel it was necessary for the hamstring exercises. Plus, you’re working your hamstrings some on the leg press.
You can certainly do squats with this workout. One option would be to substitute leg press for squats.
However, the reason I did not include squats is this 30 minute leg workout is I wanted more focus to be on making specific muscles work harder throughout each rep. Squats involves more than just legs.
This is definitely a high volume leg workout with 30 sets of 300 total reps. You will walk out of the gym with one of the best leg pumps you’ve ever experienced with this workout.
